Lak Tented Camp – Buon Me Thuot City

Lak Tented Camp is the key highlight of my Buon Me Thuot trip. I actually have never slept in a luxurious tent in my life. This is the first time!

For your top of mind question about sleeping in the nature- in the tent, it was a pleasant night though despite some active and friendly geckos who want to get your attention. Besides, you get a proper shower and toilet place next to your tent. Last but not least, you get an aircon for each room!

Wide options are offered to explore the areas including free guided trip to see local culture, daily life and beautiful rice field. You can go kayaking during the sunset or book an elephant for your own in photo session along the lake.

Don’t miss the ENORMOUS elephant rock on the road from city to the lake. You can climb up there and take magic photo or videos if you have a drone.

Price is reasonable. Staff is helpful and knowledgable. Food variety does have some limits but overally meet my expectation for a tented camp experience!

How to get here: 60 mins car trip from the Buon Me Thuot Airport. Just call taxi operator and ask for special fare. (Approx 400-500k one way.)
